Chef de Partie 

The successful candidate will be passionate about food, have a flair for ingredients and the ability to remain calm under pressure.  Responsibilities will include:   Ensuring high culinary standards within the team, maintaining high levels of hygiene control and health and safety through the kitchen.

Experience of working at this level within a 2 rosette establishment would be an advantage.

Hours will be approximately 48 hours per week, shifts will include evenings and weekends and will be on a rota basis.

Receptionist

We are looking for an organised, lively and enthusiastic person to join our front of house team. We are looking for someone with a sparkling personality who can create a lasting impression and who has experience of working in a similar front of house receptionist role.

You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the front desk, making sure customer service is of the highest standard at all times. You will show excellence in organisation.

Experience and duties required will include:

 

  • Previous hotel front of house receptionist experience
  • Local to the Bury St Edmunds area preferred but not essential
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work flexible hours as per shift rotas which will include evenings and weekends
  • Liaising with all departments on a day to day basis
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Senior Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie

We are looking to recruit experienced and highly professional Senior Chef de Partie and a Chef de Partie, both will have the talent and ability to prepare and produce high quality food consistently.

Duties will include:

  • Ensure that a high standard of preparations and presentation is achieved before any dish leaves the kitchen.
  • Oversees staff on section, training on the job and ensure that the section runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards in health, safety and hygiene.
  • Maintain a high standard of discipline to reduce waste and accidents.
