You will get a real taste of country life in these two days where you’ll see; show jumping, hounds on display, heavy horse turnouts, Shetland pony racing, cattle judging, proud goat owners, pedigree pigs and a host of fantastic stalls. It’s not to be missed.

FLAVOURS FOOD FESTIVAL | 8TH & 9TH JUNE 13

This weekend sees the return of one of the region's biggest and most highly acclaimed food & drink festivals.

Set to become an important part of the regional foodie calendar, Flavours of 2013 is bursting with fresh ideas, delicious produce and great cooking. It's a place of lively entertainment, family fun and much more...

It's all happening in the picturesque setting of the walled garden at Henham Park, just outside of Southwold in Suffolk.

HIDDEN GARDENS OF BURY ST EDMUNDS | 16TH JUNE 13

Behind the doors and walls of houses in the centre of Bury St Edmunds are delightful gardens - of all sizes - which are open once a year for charity.

The annual event is a treat for garden lovers and a chance to see behind about 30 houses in the historic streets of Bury St Edmunds, laid out in a grid pattern by the monks from the towns 12th Century Abbey.

Visitors may be surprised to find fruit and vegetables, greenhouses, ponds, unusual trees, lovely lawns and sunny patios with posts, many of them an oasis of calm.

The event is open from 11am-5pm and is raising money for St Nicholas Hospice.
