Visit the home of Abbot Ale, Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Ruddles County at the King Visitor Centre, situated next to the Brewery in the heart of the bustling market town of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
The museum traces the history of brewing in and around Bury St Edmunds from the earliest times, and the story of the Greene and King families who came together in 1887 to form Greene King and Sons Ltd.
There has been a brewery on the site in Bury St Edmunds since at least 1700 and it's still going strong today!
The 'new' Brew House was built in 1938 and is a wonderful example of art deco architecture with Italian marble flooring and walls on the mash tun floor.
