MEET OUR CHEF
Having worked extensively in Suffolk and throughout the UK, Scott is confident in offering the finest dining experience to the town.
After college, Scott worked at Maison Chocolat before joining Ring and Brymer, cooking for prestigious events including three state banquets and numerous dinners at 10 Downing Street. He then moved on to Gardner and Merchant where he staged at The Aubergine with Gordon Ramsay.
Scott’s varied career also includes time at the Walnut Tree in Abergavenny under Franco Taruschio, working for Lord Beaulieu at the historic Montague Arms and at Master Builders House Hotel under Michelin starred chef Kevin Mangeolles.
He is proud of his Suffolk roots and this drives his passion for local ingredients supplied from our county and coast. He focuses on offering traditional favourites with a contemporary twist such as Beef Bourguignon or simply prepared Scallops fresh from the North Sea.
